"The tune 'I'll Survive' by B.B. King provided inspiration for this track. I was up a ladder in Hove painting the outside of a friend's house listening to the B.B. King album 'Blues On The Bayou' on my iPod. 'I'll Survive' came on while I was listening to it the lyrics for 'Somethin's Missing' arrived in my head. I had to listen to the track over and over again to get all the lyrics in place - awkward when you are up a ladder with paintbrush in hand. As 'I'll Survive' was the inspiration, the chords (and the key) of 'Somethin's Missing' are pretty much the same. To record this song I used the members of 'High & Mighty', a band in which I play bass."
