"The drum pattern for this song is the drum pattern played by the great Jeff Pocaro in the Toto song 'Rosanna'. I HAD to use the drum pattern, my favourite of all time, on my album somewhere, so it is the basis of ''Desiderata de MOOOSE...aka Skiddleyboots'. The 'Skiddleyboots' bit comes from my time in Leeds when I shared a house with a drummer, Al Gubbins, and we used to get very stoned and watch the 'Toto - live in Paris 1990' concert on video quite regularly, during the course of which we vocalised the drum pattern to 'Rosanna' as "skiddleyba, skiba boots, boots skiba" or Skiddleyboots!"
