"The song 'Family Affair' by Mary J Blige was the inspiration behind this song and in particular the horn break part way through. The horn line came to me on night during a party on a canal tow path just outside London where they rigged up some purple UV lights. I was dancing beneath them, basking in the gloriousness of purpleocity and listening to this tune when the melody came to me. Born from the colour purple!"
